At Ginger & Copper, my passion for design does not stop at the candles themselves—it extends to the vessels that house them. The story of Ginger & Copper begins with a deeply personal moment: my wedding. As a lifelong creative, I knew I wanted to incorporate DIY elements into my special day. When I started searching for containers to use as potted herb centerpieces, I quickly realized there was nothing available that felt simple and understated...everything was overly ornate.

Determined to create something unique, I decided to learn how to mix and pour concrete. My husband, Jeff, and I worked side by side to perfect the process. Together, we poured over 95 concrete containers and table markers for our wedding centerpieces. It was a labor of love that combined creativity, collaboration, and a shared vision for beauty in simplicity.

Similar to our wedding, where guests were invited to take home the concrete pots as keepsakes, many of our loved ones have found ways to creatively upcycle their vessels in other ways. This experience became the spark that inspired Ginger & Copper.
